Q. How does the National Deposit Healthcare Account differ from other private medical insurance?
A. You receive cash if you claim and the plan has a cash value if you don't. Half of each monthly premium goes into your own personal deposit account and the other half goes towards the cost of running the scheme. If you want to make a claim you pay a percentage of each claim from your deposit account.

Q. Will my premiums ever increase?
A.No. Unlike other private medical insurance policies you have fixed monthly premiums for life. You will however pay more from your deposit account towards each of your claims as you get older.

Q. If I need to can I withdraw money from my deposit account?
A. You can withdraw money from your deposit account but this will reduce the amount that you then have available to put towards any claims.

Fixed Monthly Premiums - for Life!

With the Healthcare Deposit Account, you can choose the level of cover you want. And unless you want to upgrade your cover, premiums will never go up - you will just need to pay more towards any claims as time goes by. And there's no need to renew your policy each year because it continues for as long as you want it to!

Making a claim:

when you claim your personal deposit account will pay a set percentage of the cost based on your age and account type - we will always pay the majority share.
